As a growing e-commerce site in its startup phase, the Dolls Kill codebase had been worked on by many different overseas developers over the years, creating disarray and chaos. When I came in, they were starting to build their in-house team. During my time working for them as a front-end engineer, I spent time organizing and cleaning up their codebase, eliminating repeating code, and enforcing a more stable architecture. Furthermore I wrote documentation for future developers, optimized certain areas of the site for better performance, and implemented new features in their navigation and shopping pages.
